Data & Insights

AI can help analyse data. But it’s not always accurate and it doesn’t understand student context.

Cautiously use AI for:

  • Drafting reflections on assessment data
  • Spotting patterns in student responses
  • Creating data summaries from raw input
caution

Avoid entering identifying information like names, addresses, or detailed student notes.
Always de-identify your data before using it in AI tools.

tip

Use 'Find' and 'Replace All' to swap student names for codes... eg Soraya Smith in Year 5 ➜ NameSSY5.
Use the alias with AI and reverse the process to generate content like report comments.
